The Yahweh Center isTickled Pink’s Flaire Cause of the Month

Tickled Pink Photo The Yahweh Center Children’s Village is Tickled Pink Cause of the month! Stop in and thank them for supporting us! Owners of Tinkled Pink, Shanda and Steve West have been thrilled about the response since the doors opened on November 1, 2011. The couple has had an entrepreneurial spirit for many years, running several different businesses in the past. Shanda heads the store full time and enjoys the experience she has had meeting new people and supporting local business. “My heart is really in showcasing all the gifts and talents of others in Wilmington and making the local community aware of that,” She said.

The importance of supporting local business was always a concern of Shanda’s but she wanted to take it a step further and support local charities as well. This is where the notion of the ‘Cause Flare’ was developed, a wall space in the store devoted to a different cause each month.

Next time you’re out and about or looking for unique gift ideas, go by Lumina Station and take a look at what Tickled Pink has on its shelves. Even if you’re not interested in making any purchases, it’s certainly worth the stroll around to see a combination of some of the wonderful local talent possessed by the community.

Also you can make a donation to the Yahweh Center right there throughout the month of May!
